"Did you wash your hands? With soap? And water? Let me feel them. Let me smell them." How many times have you heard those questions? Lots, I bet.

Your parents might bug you about washing your hands, especially before dinner, but clean hands are very important.

You see, there are a lot of tiny little creatures out there that want to make you sick. One way they do this is by hiding in the places you like to play and sneaking on to your hands. Then when it's time to eat, and your hands are near your mouth, they leap right in and get inside your body.

These little guys are called germs, and the best thing you can do to stop them is to wash your hands. Germs hate soap, and they won't stick around when you put soap on your hands. So get lots of soap on there and show those guys you mean business!
